Four Years
Wow I can't believe it, but yesterday was our four year anniversary.
We got married in Greencastle, IN at the courthouse with one witness. It was right after 9/11 and both Andy and I were in the military. We had been engaged since Feb and were planning an Aug wedding. I lived in Greencastle while being a graduate coaching assistant at DePauw University and taking classes at Indiana State for my MS. Andy was still a student up here at SDSU. We had talked about it and hadn't really decided, but on that day when Andy was visiting we got up and I said ok let's do it. So we did and then I went and coached a game and when they announced the team and the coaching staff they announced me as Cory Ann Ellis. Instead of Forkner my maiden name. It was really weird. I still want to write Forkner sometimes.
So there is a little tidbit out of my life. I've always intended this blog to be so we could all get to know each other, but I've taken little personal time to rest or pick up my camera, other than for work. Last night we just had a nice dinner at home and instead of sitting in my office until 2am working. I spent time in the living room with my family. The result... a picture of my flowers Andy brought home, he did well. I like different flowers and not just roses (but there were 4 roses, one for each year). And one shot of my boys playing on the couch.
Enjoy your day.
