Jill & Preston 10.22.05

What a wedding! Kaylla and I left Friday evening for Fargo for the wedding of Jill and Preston. We arrived at the Ramada to find a nice welcome bag full of treats for us. Too cool, that set the tone for a fun day on Sat. when we started at Casa Bella for hair. The ladies all got their hair done and hung out. We then went to the church to get dressed and for Jill and Preston to finally see each other. These two really connect and you can see and feel it. I love being able to be part of these first moments and to document them.

After they had their time we rounded everyone up for formals, did some fun formals and then there was the ceremony. Pastor Paul did a great job. It was a very personal ceremony with lots of emotion. After the ceremony they exited the church with guests blowing bubbles and we headed downtown to the Howard Donaldson Hotel for some pics with just the couple. This place is amazing! They had a room for the evening and the girls brought stuff in to decorate it. It was fabulous and they will have a blast returning to it. Back to the Ramada for a wonderful reception filled with lots of friends and family.

The amount of love and emotion that filled the whole day was contagious. Ken, Jill's dad was caught shedding tears a couple of times. Of course Jill, Heather, Chelsea, and Jill were all crying regularly. Preston was seen wiping away some tears. Mike, Preston's dad put together an amazing slideshow, with some old photos and even included some video clip from the day. This had many in tears.

It was a privilege to be a part of these two families on this wonderful day! Thank you all for making me feel so welcome and making my job easy and fun.

Congratulations Preston & Jill!

Cory Ann - Truly amazing!! I couldn't wait to get up this morning because I know how antsy you are to look at all the pics so I knew you'd have them on here. We had such a blast, the whole day was just perfect. Thanks so much for documenting our special day, and I think I've finally stopped crying. The Ho Do was as good as it looked. Can't wait for the rest.

Cory Ann - This is Mike. I finally have had some time to get to your website. Jill told me the pics were so neat. I have showed my staff back at school the wedding video I took--yes, they even got a good look at the photographer! : ) They were very impressed with your three photos that we put on the end of the slide show. Needless to say Cindy and I are excited to see the rest of your pics.
Thanks for everything you did for the "kids". I know it takes a lot of patience and preserverance to get the good shots at weddings with the little ones being so restless. It was such a fun weekend for us. I am glad it was for you too.

Jill,
I was wondering when you would hit the blog. I figured you might get here before I did. And your not done crying. Hopefully you'll be moved again when you see all the images. I'm jealous... I want to go to the HoDo. Maybe I'll plan a little trip with Andy.

Mike,
You are not supposed to get me on film. That is just wrong! Great to meet you and Cindy. Thank you for lending me the cord.
