R Family 10.23.05

Just got home from a fun shoot with Steve, Nancy and Alexis. I met Steve about a year ago when we were both working on an ad campaign at the Ronald McDonald House in Sioux Falls. Steve was doing video and I was doing stills. At one point we had to pretend we were hubby and wife sitting on the couch for the camera. Too funny. Anyway I then went and did some maternity images so I could practice some stuff, Steve lent me a video light so I could try to mix it with my flash at weddings and we have worked on two weddings together. Steve started his videography business called Focused Motion and is the vendor I recommend for this service.

Anyway we went out for some shots of Steve and Nancy in the grass before heading into the studio. It was great to see a married couple have so much fun. Normally I only get just engaged couples who let me shoot just them. I think this should be an anniversary thing. They were great and had me laughing and forgetting how cold it was.

Then at the studio I got to meet Alexis and she is a doll! She made us work to get those smiles, but that's ok she looked great with out a smile too. It was great to see them again and fun to meet Alexis.
