Albums and Books

After 3 years in business, 2 full wedding seasons (about 50 weddings), countless portrait sessions and a lot of education and deliberation I have come to the conclusion that the best way to preserve your images an therefore memories is in a book or album.

Why? Becuase most of you who have purchased your disk haven't printed but a couple. I haven't heard of one of you who made an album. Some of you only bought a handful of prints, no disk and no album. Let's think 3 more generations down the line... Your great grandkids want to look through your images. Well you pull out your beautiful handmade, custom designed album. It's beautiful, it's still classic, it's design isn't dated (cause we don't design like that). They ohhh and ahhh at you crying, laughing, point out how beautiful you were. Or they can try to find some old CD or DVD ROM, cause you know they'll be like an 8-track is to us (does anyone have one of those?). And labor to look through them on the disk one at a time, not together like they should.

So yeah I think that an album or a book is the best way to show your images, although I know most of you want your disk. So to possibly persuade you I'm going to make you a deal. Take that money you were going to buy your disk with and put it towards an album or book of $700 or more and I'll give you your small print disk. I guarntee you'll be happy you got an album. So here's the special and a couple of images from some albums we delivered before the holidays. They are so pretty!

And albums and books aren't just for weddings. I take a lot of images of families. I show all the details and interaction. I think these are great ways to get many of those images together. I know some of you scrapbook (Jody, Corrina) and I think that's a great way too. But for those of us that don't or don't have great SIL's (this means Sister in law by the way) that do you can have us do it instead. You can also combine images through out multiple session to have your child's first year or first 5 years.

And we are on to the next special.
