Winner: Free Wedding Photography by Cory Ann

I am so glad I let you all vote on this. I would not want to make this decision on my own. These two are wonderful couples and both are very deserving. After receiving, looking over and replying to over 500 votes the winner has been chosen...

Pennie and Jacob were selected by the voters as the winner of the giveaway. They will be getting married on April 21st in Madison, SD. Amazingly they will not be flying in until just days before at which time they will have to go to get their marraige license. Pennie's sister Ellie who nominated her and Jacob has been planning the entire wedding, including trying on and picking out the dress. These two will have too short of a period of time with each other and their family before they will have to head back overseas to continue to serve. They will be separated from each other and I think these images will be a wonderful treat for them to reflect on, especially on those tough days in the big sandbox.

So you two I hope to hear from you soon. Ellie I'll also be in contact to set up the details. Pennie and Jacob (and Ellie) you have one less thing to worry about as I will be covering your entire wedding photography. I will personally be photographing your wedding and I will be delivery your images on disk to you for personal reproduction as well as a custom designed album. I cannot wait to meet you two as I have gotten so many wonderful e-mails from your family and friends. You are very fortunate to have them supporting you while you serve.

But wait... I think both couples are deserving and I received wonderul e-mails about both. I have a stepson and know how hard it can be to be a stepmom, but both of Bo's girls e-mailed me excited for their dad to marry Jen. They love her, her students love her, her athletes love her. O and Bo got some good comments too.

Relationships can be hard and not everyone is able to get a second chance. From what I've gathered these two are getting that and the community is there to support them. On July 28th they will exchange vows and officially start their new lives together. And I will be there to document it.

Bo and Jennifer I would like to extend to you two my services to photograph for up to 7 hours of coverage and a disk of the images for your personal reproduction. Here's the catch: you need to take a honeymoon and I'm not giving you the disk until I see a picture from it. I can tell you two are devoted to your jobs and well I've been married 5 years now and still don't have one, so even if it's just a short couple of days in the hills you two need to take time for yourself to start this new life together. What do you say?

Ok, I'm going to sit back now that the hard part is done. I hope you all have a great day and a little is lifted off your shoulders.
