From Leah and John

And it is so cute. I put it into my dining room. Thank you to Leah and John who made my evening. I know it’s stupid that little notes from clients can lift me up. But you know I invest so much into this business. I’m the type of person who just pours their heart into their work. I want to be great at the things I do. I want to make my clients days better, I want to surpass their expectations. I get down when it doesn’t happen. We all know we are far quicker to point out shortfalls than positives. And I have been trying so hard to improve my images and service and to get notes from happy customers just validates all that hard work.

OK so now I’m a sap and starting to tear up. My gosh, I must be PMS’ing or something (hubby look out- ooo that explains my stress that last couple of nights- ok Kristina look out)… back on track. Anyway it really does mean a lot! I love that so many of my customers become friends and I really get to create for them on many occasions.

Last October I traveled to the Black Hills for the the wedding of Leah and John. They had hired another photographer, but after I photographed a session with her sister Angie she was turned onto my site. I remember talking to her on the phone. I didn’t want to take a wedding away from another photog. I looked them up on-line and they were ok. Not the best but she was getting a lot more product for her money. I told her that and her response was somewhere along the lines of what good is the product if it doesn’t have the images you want in the style you want? I couldn’t agree more. I knew Leah got it and got me. She valued photography, just hadn’t found me first. She sacrificed her deposit with the other photog and paid more for less product with me. What a chance to take. I feel bad for the other photog, but since I didn’t pursue Leah and I understand the importance of these images I couldn’t turn her down when she told me they decided to book me. I’m glad they did, it was an amazing wedding. You can see their images all over my site. They were blown up huge for the bridal booth. That confidence they had in me motivated me and I’m glad they think it was worth it!

Thank you so much for the note and the super cool Bonsai tree! Now I have to keep it alive. Hope to see you again soon.

The note reads:

Cory Ann:
I know you must hear this all the time, but I just have to join in and tell you how fantastic you are. You captured our day better than I had even imagined. Every image brings back the emotion and job of that day. Switching photographers was the best decisioin we ever made! i can’t tell you how much it means to me to have rockin images to share with everyone. Keep it up, and someday I can have my entire house decorated with AC Ellis Photography.
Leah and John Anderson =)

And for the record I don’t hear it that much, and if I did it would never be too much!
