Becky sent me a gift certificate for Amazon for doing her maternity images and this is what I got. Books by two artists I really admire.
Super cool Richard Avedon Portraits book. It slides out of it’s holder and opens in an accordian style. A wonderfully neat presentation of his images which are all b&w large format.
And Annie Leibovitz: American Music. I think this is about my 5 book of hers. As we were unpacking the house we took a lot of stuff out of storage. Including books of my that I haven’t looked at for years as we lived in a small apartment. In them I found early purchases of mine that were Annie’s books. I wasn’t even aspiring to be a photographer then. I guess subliminally I just always admired the art.
