Well I decided to take a small break from client images and look through some Cali images. It had been about 3 years since I’d been back “home”, my how things have changed and nothing has changed. I was excited to see my dad and show Ayden now 5.5 where mom grew up for 17 years.
Fist stop the beach. We went to Pudding Creek first. This beach is clean and has easy access for the public. It was an overcast day and we just walked out to the ocean. The creek didn’t flow all the way through, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.
I’m sure I can’t do the place just, but here are some images.
Ayden loved popping the kelp bulbs that had washed ashore. This is before he got to it and popped it.
How plants grow out of mounds of sand is beyond me.
Or down a cliff where the roots just hang and don’t go into the ground.
Some ocean plant life.
And the cliffs.
The trees that are wind blown… it was not windy that day and my camera is not crocked.
Looking out.
and Pudding Creek bridge. When I lived there we couldn’t cross it, well legally or safely, now you have a nice paved path to ride or walk across.
More to come. Lots more.

Cory Ann - It is a boring ole’ town on the dreary coast. But hey it’s still beautiful.
We were lucky to grow up there.

Sara Lil Photography - Great images CA! I haven’t been back there in years. I used to walk on the old logging road by pudding creek pretty much everyday after school back in the day… it was so beautiful but I didn’t know it back then. I took it for granted and thought it was a boring ole’ town on the dreary cold coast. I guess we were lucky to grow up there
