Cody + Katlyn: Marshall, Minnesota Wedding

Where to start? You would not be able to tell by these images that I got a flat tire on the way to the wedding and changed it on the side of the road and drove super fast to get to the ceremony site on time. We had plenty of time to spare and got some amazing images.

I love these two so much. Their love for each other, their family and their daughter is just contagious! Like before I’m going to let the images and caption tell the story of the day. There will be a second post soon full of only details. Yes there were that many I need to share!

Just one out of order image, because it is amazing!!!

We started before the ceremony with some images of Katlyn around the church.

Katlyn and Cody waited to see each other and while waiting for the handoff I just loved how Katlyn looked at Cody.

I was fortunate enough to have free reign during the ceremony and therefore a wonderful vantage point from the altar for the following moments.

And this one. Often the church lady or pastor require that we stay in the back. I try to politely pursued them to allow us up front. If that had been the case in this wedding I would not have gotten this wonderful moment.

And I don’t normally show formals, but so many of my couples have been forgoing the altar formals for both the wedding party and family and it sure does make your images better. Why, because I can then pick beautiful locations and light to shoot them under instead of a busy altar. Two “formals” to show you.

I hope I have an image of my son at his wedding with me like this. I think that largely depends on how he is raised. Hopefully like Cody, loving and generous and kind.
