Ok we are skipping ahead to Nov. So I can get you all caught up on my fab little family. Nov. 14th is Ayden’s birthday so much to the dismay of his teacher I surprised him and pulled him out of school for a day with mom. We headed to Sioux Falls were we had lunch at Panera Bread, shopped a bit for the both of us and then headed home. Ayden hasn’t ever been to Toys R Us and he’s really into legos so I took him there to pick out anything he wanted in the lego area. Thankfully for me he picked a $20 item and not the $200 one.
In keeping with the “I did all the work pushing you out, so I get a present” tradition. I got a new Cole Haan purse. Ladies, teach your hubbies early that they should be getting you gifts on your children’s birthday. Like I said you did all the work, and carried them for 9 months. : )
The party was the following day and had an orange and yellow lego theme. Andy did his 6th Annual Wild Game Feed so everyone had plenty to eat and finished it off with the best cake around. Jody and Joni I think have put me in charge of bringing the birthday cake to their kids’ parties.
Thank you everyone for coming and making it special for Ayden.
