Julie and Pat’s South Dakota wedding was so nice and calm. I think the settings that they selected sure did help the atmosphere. For the ceremony the selected The Museum of Visual Materials in Sioux Falls. The building is light and open and beautiful. I think it’s a trend this year, many of my weddings have had a family member conduct the ceremony and I love this as it always adds a personal touch as it did for Julie and Pat. And the layout of the museum also allowed for me to get up front and get their expressions during the ceremony.
After the ceremony we headed over to CJ Callaways for the wedding reception. The room looked beautiful as usual. The light was perfect in the hall as the daylight hours came right through the large windows.
They had a beautiful day and wedding! Thank you for having me.

The beautiful bride and handsome groom. I just love how Julie looks here. She was standing in the perfect light at the hotel and I simple called her name so that she would look over at me.

For the group and some pre-ceremony images we found this industrial area to shoot in.

Over at the Museum of Visual Materials we had a little break before the ceremony. I really do love this location.

And one last image before heading out. On the grounds of CJ Callaways in the perfect evening light.
