What I love most about this time of the year is time with family. I love having the boys around and not in school all day. We get to do fun stuff together. There are many other things that I also enjoy like sugar cookies, decorating, wine, snow (lots and lots of snow this year) and a nice cup of hot cocoa. This year the snow has raised havoc on many plans in our area, but we are finding the joy in inviting all of our friends in town over for a day of fun, food and tom and jerrys the Ellis signature drink of the season.

This little piece gets to adorn our front window the day after Thanksgiving until New Years. It’s our way of making the people driving by smile. And if you don’t get the humor in it, well you don’t need to do any celebrating at our house. Fra-gi-lee!
I love collecting ornaments for the tree. I like unique ones. My favorites by far are the old glass painted retro and also the mercury vintage glass ornaments. Like this one.
I do adore this white porcelain ornament.
