Mackenzie and Stephen were such a pleasure to work with and I still can’t believe how much time we had on their wedding day to take portraits. When I arrived everyone was patiently waiting for the ceremony to start and keeping Mackenzie and Stephen from seeing each other. After the ceremony Mackenzie and Stephen selected some great locations for portraits, but who would have thought that my favorite image from the day was taken in their hotel room.

The church they selected was so lovely.
The shape of Mackenzie’s dress was perfect and while walking up with her dad you could see her beautiful shape.
Even though I wasn’t allowed up close to capture these little moments I could still tell they were happening.
After the ceremony we headed out by the lakes for some portraits with the group.
It was a warm day and some of the bridal party decided to dip their toes in the water.
We then headed back over to the Landmark Center for more portraits and the reception. Such a beautiful building.

We had a bit of time so we headed over to the hotel so Mackenzie and Stephen could check in early to their room. I felt odd following them over, but I’m so happy I did. I came in and captured this image and slipped out and waited outside.
