I was really looking forward to this wedding for good reason. I’ll show you more below. Stacy and John were so much fun, as was their family and bridal party. It was a great day and a wedding to be remembered.
Thank you guys so much for having me.

You know it’s going to be a fun wedding when you open the brides shoe box and find these…

I’ve never been partial to the dark dreary church rooms or nurseries as a getting dressed area, so it was nice when Stacy agreed to get ready in the back of the church. The light and space was very nice to work in.

John is such a gentleman, here he is after seeing Stacy for the first time that day.

The church used to be a school grounds also and we had fun finding locations for portraits. I liked this willow tree.

Isn’t she lovely. O and the flower and short veil, so fun!

This was the first wedding I’ve photographed where the groom wore a kilt. Note to self, guys sitting in kilts, umm yeah might want to find a new pose…
Some details.

Talk about cute!

A beautiful ceremony location.

She was having fun playing with Dad’s purse during the ceremony. I know it’s not a purse, but she thought it was.

love.

John’s dad led them out with the bagpipe. Awesome!

Ok how was I not going to totally look forward to this wedding. First there were kilts. Hello men showing off their legs. And then Stacy and John said in between the ceremony and reception we were going to the carnival. What a wonderful pit stop for the bridal party it was so fun!

The boys and their kilts and a little bit of sun flare…

Each table was named after a place that the couple has visited together. Each guest had a card directing them to their table. There were stories on the back of the table cards too. What a nice way to get to know the couple a little bit more.

The first dance. Right in the middle of the room. Loved it.

And watching the slideshow.
