Hello,
I’m Cory Ann the owner of AC Ellis Inc. and the photographer for AC Ellis Photography. My speciality is weddings and intimates, but I do enjoy dabbling in other genres. I live in Brookings, South Dakota with husband Andy, boys Ayden and Kaleb our great dane Guinness and two turtles Marty and Martha. I love to travel personally and for work and have been fortunate to shoot in many states and a couple of different countries as well.
A bit more about me: Family is very important to me, Martha’s Vineyard is my favorite place on Earth, I need the ocean, I have a weakness for well-made shoes, J. Crew is my favorite clothing store, I think I’m addicted to coffee, I love home projects like remodeling and redecorating, landscape and yard work are my favorite things to do at home, I enjoy reading, road biking is my new sport of choice, softball is my favorite sports past-time, kickball is just fun, I plan to visit all 50 states (only 3 to go), I dabble in graphic design, my in-laws are actually cool, I am an organizational freak, my favorite color is grey, etsy is a guilty pleasure, my great-grandparents are a couple of my favorite people, and I hate to cook, but love to eat.
And about my photography… I’m told I have a specific style. I’m not sure what it is. I like to create great images, striving to be better than the last time I picked up the camera. I like to photograph people, places, and major events like weddings. Like I’ve said for years my style is distinctively my own and constantly evolving. My work has been featured in Rangefinder Magazine, Studio Photography Magazine, Farm and Ranch Living Magazine, 605 Magazine, and on the Love Sac Wedsite, The Wedding Chicks, On to Baby, Kelo News and more.
Please enjoy the blog which is a mesh of my business and personal work from August 2005-2012. While I will occasionally post a new blog on here I decided to step back from my regular postings for a while.
